Is anyone else annoyed by the sudden emphasis about properly categorizing work? I mean it's not enough to explain what each one is when you click on it, no, they have to have a whole list that tells you exactly what you put your picture under, and you have to agree that that is where it belongs. Does anyone pay THAT much attention to the categories that if you put a picture under a potrait instead of under people someone would actually notice? And a lot of times it's hard to decide where to put a peice in general because  none of them seem to fit well. Like my picture of the picnic tables on end...that's not a land scape. It's not really scenery. It's not a still life, i didn't set it up. It's not exactly abstract, because you can still tell what they are, they just kind of take on an abstract shape due to the unusual positions and the repetition. So if they are getting to be category nazis, maybe they should work on better categories. I dunno, i just find it annoying to have to confirm that yes, i'm sure, this picture really is a traditionally drawn person or a digitally colored landscape or whatever. I mean i can understand people not wanting screenshots of peopel;s desktops and webcam images to be in the same category as digitally painted images and photography...but categorization doesnt keep the images off the browser page, so we still have to look at them anyhow. anyway, enough of my ranting.
